Johnny’s Mile has applied for 501c3 non-profit status as a public charity and is dedicated to walking the extra mile with victims of crime, providing support, advocacy, and resources to help them heal and share their stories. Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:41, we stand alongside those affected by crime, fostering safer communities and elevating the voices of those impacted. In addition, we honor Johnny’s legacy through scholarships awarded to individuals who embody his spirit of courage, selflessness, and compassion, empowering them to make a difference in their communities.

Johnny Wactor was murdered on May 25, 2024 in Downtown Los Angeles. Johnny’s Mile has applied as a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports families of murdered victims.
A golf tournament for Johnny’s Mile will be held in Johnny’s hometown of Summerville, South Carolina on 11/11/24. All profits from this tournament will go directly to Johnny’s Mile.
